Baked Meatballs
just to share a good news with all my friends, I have got my work permit approved!! :) so now I might be bz hunting for job and wont be able to blog as often. So please do excuse me if you dont see me update as often.
Before I forgot, Sbanboy and TZ this recipe is a reminder of u guys after seeing your Ikea meatball dinner :)
Baked Meatballs
INGREDIENTS
500g minced meat (pork/beef/chicken I used pork)
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Seasame oil
Pepper
1-2 medium size potato, cubed
1 egg, beaten
1-2 cups bread crumbs
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Marinate minced pork with salt, sugar, sesame oil and pepper, leave for 15 mins
3. Make mashed potato by steaming the cubed potatoes and mashed it up
4. Mix the marinated minced pork, mashed potato and egg
5. Make into golf ball size meat ball
6. Rolled meat ball in bread crumb
7. Arranged in greased baking tray
8. Baked in oven for approximately 30-35 mins, or until completely cooked and browned.
Usually I like to make my own sweet and sour sauce to pour over the meatball, if you guys like, can always get those premade sauces or bbq sauce.
There u go..enjoy the meatballs!
Cheerios and keep smiling!

Will miss your comment and your blog + your recipe too. But glad that you got your permit and looking forward to switch your profession from blogging to join the workforce... :-p
I'm doing my research / considering to get the Canadian Citizenship... :-)
thanks janice :) sure sure..bb yun will hv a mini golf ball size meatball okie :)
Dun worry, me oso old brain..Tag is a 'blog game'. Usually somone will give u a topic/question (which is the game name)..eg the music shuffle game. Take this as an eg. They will give u the instruction (in this case: shuffle ur ipod/mp3 and the title is the answer) and when u complete the game, u 'tag' someone..just like how u use a 'post-it' note. U inform someone (by leaving in their comment box (usually)) that ok, u've been 'tagged' to do this game.
Thats y this blog game is call 'tagged'. I figure purpose of the tag game is just so that other fellow bloggers friends can get to know u a little better by the answer u provided :)
hmm..like tat can understand? me oso bad at explaining lah hehehe
thanks poohbearee..over here alot of professional certs from home country(such as doc, nurses, dental, lawyers etc) are not recognized and if u want to get back into ur field, most likely u will hv to go back to school (3-4 years and pay thousands of dollars of tution fees) again.
I'll try to look for an office administration job and see how it goes..
hehehe, thanks TZ very sweet of u :P hey, blogging can become a profession too u know hahah due to personal reason, i HAVE to get back into the work force :)
Good luck with ur research and hey, just a word of caution ok. If you hv read my previous post on 'canadian immigration' (u can find that under my label 'Canada') it is a 2 part video from you-tube about Canada Immigration system..have a look before u decide ok..
Cheers
Yummm... I have to try it this week. Looks good. I am always at a lost when it comes to ground/minced meat. I keep making hamburger patties or grilled meatballs or meat sauce for spaghetti. Never thought of doing it this way.
Thanks for the recipe and tip! :)
Hi Winnie, hey, all the time I thought you PR here?
Anyway, congrats and hope you get something good.
Best regards, UL.
ure most welcome j.t. :) i used to make shephard pie, meat loaf n recently, I made steam cuttlefish stuffed with minced meat covered with thai sweet chilli sauce. I like that one..
Probably will post it for u in a day or two okie? ;) if u wanna try the meat loaf or the shephard pie, u can find that under my post in the recipe labels.
After u tried the meatballs, let me know yeah :)
Thank you Uncle Lee :) My 007 (he's a PR) and I got married last year afterwhich he sponsored me to be a PR. After all the waiting, we just received AIP (approval in principle) and my work permit :)Soon, I think they will notify us when I can get the PR. Will keep u all informed yeah :)

nyonyapenang@gmail.com.
You are a good cook...the meatballs...ummmm...yummies....can I have some please? :D
trueblue..they do hehe if i may say so myself..inside is tender coz of the potato and meat mixture and then outside is the breadcrumb which give it a little 'crunch' not crunchy crunchy but just a little :)
if u wanna, can make ur own just chopped up the bread that u hv in ur fridge (realised that if u use wholegrain bread, its more 'crunchy' than just the norm white bread :))
cheers!
Thank you nyonyapenang! :)
