Happy Birthday Shane Bernier
Today is the 8th Birthday of Shane. If you have followed my blog, you will hv known the story of Shane Bernier.
Although his wish to get into the Guinness book of World record for the most number of birthday card received, he didnt make it. He received cards from all over the world and this morning when the news interviewed the mother and Shane, we got to know that that cateogry was scrapped..Well, whatever that is..
We hope that Shane has a wonderful birthday, Happy Birthday Shane!

I know Singapore very well as it was my 'ahemmm' playground those days 70's and 80's. Still have in-laws, out-laws there and friends too.
I love Singapore, but its a bit too strict and authoritarian for me. Holiday boleh, migrate there, no way, ha ha.

It is a pity, isn't it? When the news thinks some events are just not news worthy. They'd rather go for drama and sensationalise everything.
I hope Shane had a wonderful birthday. Even if he did not get into the Guiness Book of World Records, at least he did get well-wishes from all over the world. That is something. :)

yeah, imagine getting birthday cards from Dr Phil, Prime minister, John travolta, those who really took the time to do a little thing for Shane. It is hard enough for any kid of his age hving to go through all those chemo and treatments.
