Perfect Stranger

"The One" enjoy watching thriller/crime movie, me? as long as there isn't any "coming out of nowhere ghost" or screaming scene, i'm fine :P I'm more timid hehe so we came across this DVD movie "Perfect stranger" starring Halle Berry (both of us do like her, esp her role in "Catwoman") and Bruce Willis

I have to say, critics have not been really giving it a good review but for me personally, not considering movie techniques or really critical stuffs to make it a good movie, I personally did enjoy the movie.

Halle played the role of a reporter Rowena Price, who learns that her friend's murder may be connected to powerful ad executive Harrison Hill (played by Bruce), she goes undercover posing as Katherine. The closer we get to learning the truth, the more surprises we get..Everyone is a Stranger..Everyone have secrets, at every turn, at every corner, there are moments of surprises, twists and turns that just kept us glued to our chairs..just as if you're on a 'roller coaster ride' :)

If you just wanna have some fun, chill out, go along with the flow of the movie, this is one worth watching on the DVD, with popcorns or pizza on hand.. :)

Cheerios and keep smiling!

Hi Winnie,
I've got a few minutes to spare to read other people's blog! Heeheehee..

Anyway, the movie you mentioned sounds like my kind of movie. I love mysteries/thriller type. Will definitely check it out.

That's why I don't read critics' work. They loves 'There's Something About Mary' many years ago, but I hated it. Slept throughout most of it, in fact. I'd rather listen to friends. Tell me one thing if you don't mind ar: Scary ar this 'Perfect Stranger'? I chicken...;)

Hi Winnie

I am with Daphne. I usually don't like to read so called professional reviews/critics of anything. Some of the movies that they have raved about, disappointed me to the core. :)

I will keep this movie "Perfect Stranger" in mind. Sounds intriguing. Thanks.

wow trueblue, thanks for popping by when I do know that ure "stacked up to ur nose" with ur work.

if you like this movie, let me recommend another to u, 'The Game" starring Micheal Douglas..its a pretty old movie, i think probably a 1997 movie but it definitely will keep u guessing all the time! :)

daphne gal, same like u..my butt definitely didnt glue to the chair watching "there's something about mary"! hahaha shuffling here and there hehehe

However, if u do hv the chance to catch the movie "The holiday" starring Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet and Jack Black..i like Cameron in this movie rather that mary movie hahaha and psst, Jude Law, i think he's cuter than Hugh Grant! ;P

nah, i wont say this is very scary, if u hv the time, do check it out yeah!:)

Hey Winnie,

Was never a big fan of Cameron Diaz...She's too, erm, shrill and flighty for my liking...=)
