Our Ang Mo (English) Breakfast

Morning woke up, hungry and was thinking what to have for breakfast; remembered we brought some hot Italian sausage the other day.. ting ting..I look at "The One" and smiled :)

"Lets have an English breakfast today, shall we?" I asked, "The One" smiled too...Happily we went to the kitchen. I asked "The One" to make melted Cheese bread (yeah yeah, our new creation..(he: the melted cheese on bread and me: add paprika on melted cheese) hehehe) while I made scrambled egg with onion and stir fried the hot Italian sausage. After almost half an hour in the kitchen..let us present..ta ta ta ta....

Our ANG MO (English) Breakfast! (complete with Orange juice of course :))

Yummy huh? heheeh can't help it, in the mood to take pic of our ang mo breakfast (When I said, 'Take picture!", "The One" said, 'for your blog huh?' and shake his head laughing) hehehe

and you guys know what? After having this breakfast..both of us were so full that we didn't even have lunch..see how filling this ang mo breakfast is? :)

Hope that you guys had a good, filling, happy breakfast today!

Cheerios and keep smiling!
With Love from PoohBear

Caution and p/s: We don't have Ang Mo breakfast everyday..if we did..i think our cholesterol level will be high rocketed in no time!! ;P so considered yourself warned huh! :)

Ang Mo breakfast looks good. I too miss the local stuff I used to eat like the ones you mentioned. You mentioned wanton mee... oh yummm! I used to take it dry. But there were days I preferred the soup version. Always must have the chilli with it.

I agree with you Ang Mo breakfast usually fills someone up... for at least half the day. :)

j.t. me too! I love my wanton mee dry, with lots of chilli, those sambal kind as well as lots of green chilli (soaked in vinegar ones). Chilli is a must must, unless that day hv a sore throat then its soupy ones hehehe

yeah so filling, one ang mo breakfast can stand in for 2 meals ;) What kind of breakfast do you usually have in germany?

Hi there,

First time dropping by your blog - I really love what you have written in your 'About Me' spot - priceless words of wisdom.
Moving on to ang moh breakfast, whenever JT and I decide to spend a night in a hotel, we also make sure we have a hearty ang moh breakfast the next day and truly eat to our hearts content ... at the same time we love to pass comments about those type of people who just can't make do without their Malaysian breakfast ... must have nasi lemak or mee goreng one lah .. he he he

My breakfast is usually cereal or toast bread. Also, half boiled egg with toast. yumm...

Sometimes I get hungry seeing what I cook for hubby - bacon, eggs and sausages. That is when I cook up some for myself. When I do that, I am full for half a day. I cannot eat it too often.

You've said it... half-boiled egg with soy sauce and pepper. mmm...

Oh yeah, Lady Patsy and I always love our hearty ang moh breakfasts during our getaways. We always talk about how some people cannot do without their local dishes. Terrible gals we are. :)

I like local food but I cannot eat nasi lemak or mee goreng in the morning. It is very rare that I get a craving for it. At international buffet breakfasts, I prefer going for congee (and all its fixings) or Chee Cheong Fun. I like the Hong Kong style... oooo.. so yummy. :)

oh j.t. i love nasi lemak esp those simple ones rice, just a small piece of egg, ikan bilis and sambal chilli, thats it :) I think it was like 80cents or $1 each packet.
